LOONEY TOONS

There was a cloud that followed me

It dogged my steps, it ran the show

A foggy, misty empty sea

All kinda dreary, don't ya know

Had me on my way to ruin

Had me barkin' at the moon

Thought I was goin' looney toons

It didn't matter how I tried

Couldn't seem to read my lines

Was always driftin' with the tide

Not one to heed the warning signs

It was like I was caught in a typhoon

My life was blowin' past high noon

And I was surely looney toons

Should have asked to be committed

It would have saved some people grief

Life's not a suit that's simply fitted

Styles keep changin'

And time's a thief

That's for sure

Now there's a muse that visits me

It whispers music, sweet and clear

In a language known to be

What this soul has longed to hear

No more preachin' doom and gloom

No more thoughts of padded rooms

No more goin' looney toons
